Basic description : Huawei U8800 world’s first HSPA+ smartphone powered by Android it is capable of supporting high-speed Internet access, which is faster than existing 3G smartphones.

The U8800 uses the Android 2.1 operating system, and integrates HSPA+ capabilities to support downlink speeds of up to 14 Mb/s. This speed allows users to download a 400Mb feature-length movie within thirty seconds. The smartphone will feature a 3.8-inch wide screen, providing users with a broader field of vision and allowing them to take full advantage of a multitude of features and Internet applications.

5 MP powerful camera which supports a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The camera has auto focus function and LED flash too. Furthermore, it performs video recording too.It accepts MicroSD card slot too. It also lets you to send and receive SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email and IM. Data access supports for U8800 are GPRS, EDGE, GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G network, 3G HSDPA, WLAN, and Bluetooth with A2DP, and USB. For internet services the phone is provided with HTML browser.

The device features Android 2.1 operating system. Various other features included in this phone are Games, Java, MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player,  MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 player, Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) and Voice memo.
