SMS GupShup growing more than Orkut, Facebook or Twitter

More than 1 million consumers are joining SMS GupShup\’s mobile social network each month in India. That is more than Google Orkut, Facebook or Twitter, making the network the most popular in the country.
That also makes the hub a good fit for brands trying to engage consumers in that region.
SMS GupShup recently passed the 35 million member mark, is active in 3.5 communities and is adding new consumers at a rate of 1 million per day. Comparatively, Facebook has 21 million unique users and Google\’s Orkut has 20 million.
