Mauj Mobile acquires UK-based firm Mobango

Mumbai-based VAS player, Mauj Mobile announced the acquisition of UK-based Mobango that specializes in the development of mobile applications and offers user-generated content.
According to Mauj the deal will allow it to provide its partners in India and abroad, a wider array of applications and content for their customers.

Commenting on this development, Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO, People Group said, “Mauj was founded with a vision of providing compelling content and applications over the mobile internet. Mobango\’\'s acquisition is another step in that direction. Mobangao claims to have recorded more than 750 million downloads.
