Airtel beats all CDMA cos put together

Bharti Airtel, the country’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, has outperformed all CDMA players put together in terms of mobile revenues, net subscriber addition and revenue share in the last four months. In October, the company increased its lead over the combined CDMA wireless user base to 1.24 million.

Mobile retailers continue hiring despite slowdown

At a time when lay-off fears are beginning to haunt the Indian workforce, most domestic players in the growing mobile retail market have not switched off their hiring spree. The retailers say that the economic slowdown has not had any significant impact on demand for mobile services.
