End-to-End Mobile transaction Platform

This end-to-end transaction platform will be offered as a pilot to Bharti Airtel. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding.

India’s leading Telecom Company, Bharti Airtel boasts of more than 50 million users. Their ever increasing customer base will improve with eCognNito’s ease of use solutions. The service will enhance accessibility, penetration and adoptions of Bharti Airtel’s m-commerce offerings along with the company’s rural initiatives.

The eCogNito solution is compliant with international industry standards in multiple verticals GSM, 3GPP, ETSI (telecom), ISO 14443, MifareT, FeliCaT, NFC (contact-less cards)and EMVCo (Visa, CAST), VGP, as well as Global Platform (Banking). Based on unique dual chip architecture with onboard cryptographic coprocessors, it is a network-agonistic Contact-less SIM/(U) SIM application. XIUS-bcgi’s eCogNito solution is developed in partnership with two leading international semiconductor companies to develop two unique products custom designed for mobile applications.

Expanding to the division’s Intellectual Property, it includes embedded RFID, touch interfaces and secure flash controllers. With state-of-the-art printed electronics, the innovative solution is fabricated by a paper-thin self-service terminal device. Comprising of through-the-glass touch sensing termed Active Posters (APs) which when mounted behind any retail shop with glass front, instantly transforms it into a 24×7 storefront. The application will enable customers to perform contact-less transactions for prepaid recharge, electronic bill payment, booking movie tickets and accessing digital content, coupons/tokens on the move.

The easy-to-use platform is simple yet intuitive. Just a touch of the users handset to ‘target icons’ on the APs anywhere, anytime will automatically set-up local, high-speed free data connections using multiple short-range wireless connectivity technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.). In a few minutes, users can also download rich media content like video clips, games and animations to their handset/memory cards. These APs are placed in cafes, music shops, multiplexes, fast food restaurants, etc.

Working with millions of existing handsets in-use, the CL SIMs will be issued by mobile network operators.
