Mobile Asia 2008 in Delhi

The capital is gearing up for India’s largest consumer exhibition on mobile phones and accessories - Mobile Asia 2008 - to be held at Pragati Maidan from Feb 29 to March 3.

Organised by the Indian Cellular Association (ICA), the four-day exhibition will also highlight the latest technological developments in the Indian mobile market with several domestic as well as global companies showcasing a slew of their latest products and offering.

Conference on Communication Convergence in Mumbai on Mar 6-7

The sixth international conference on communications convergence here next month will focus on wireless communication in today’s age and how the telecom revolution could be taken to the remote rural areas. “Leaders from the telecom industry and business will participate as speakers and will deliberate upon various policy matters and future directions of wireless communication,” Niraj Bajaj, president of the Indian Merchant’s Chamber (IMC), told IANS.

The IMC is organising the March 6-7 event.

IAMAI announces India Digital Summit 2008

Web 2.0 startups must go beyond PC
