BSNL is too hot for Apple
BSNL’s efforts to cash in on the scope of 3G Spectrum by collaborating with Apple seem to have failed. When approached with a proposal for a tie-up with iPhone, the American technology giant answered in the negative.
Apple, as per its policy, doesn’t enter into an agreement with more than one operator in a country. However, in India, it collaborated with Airtel and Vodafone, realising the immense market potential. But BSNL is not giving up as yet, and is planning to approach Apple again after its year-end launch of 3G services.
