History

In the summer of 2007, a few friends were planning an evening out on a conference call. The focus after finalizing the details of the evening somehow moved to the technological pace of our communications industry and point after point was thrown in the conversation on how things had changed in the last few years. With that came the excitement on how much was going to be offered in the coming times.

India had actually skipped the car-phone level and hopped on to the mobile generation and yes latched on to it pretty well. Every Indian would be soon connected.

All this and much more was discussed, when we realized that there was no single platform that gave us a view of the present and a hint of the future. So like all over enthusiastic twenty year olds, we decided to blog about it. And so the birth of ‘UnwireIndia’.

Evolution

Over the years, UnwireIndia took initiatives to encompass the latest from the ever-expanding world and introduced new sections in automobile, games, social networking and aviation. We have tried to cover every detail – big or small to bring it to our readers and fulfill our commitment of keeping you updated.

Current Stage

Now, in its latest avatar (with incorporation of new sections like sports, education, technology, gadgets, etc.), we hope to enrich our readers with up to date info from diverse sectors.

UnwireIndia also believes in comprehensive industry information dissemination and therefore respects other blogs/websites that might be better source of info and rightly direct our readers to them.
