Buffalo Inc. has announced in India the Buffalo Wi-Fi Gamers (WCA-G), a gaming access point that lets users connect to the Internet without a PC and provides a hassle-free platform for online and wireless gaming experiences.

The gaming-centric device supports Nintendo Wii, DS, DS Lite, Sony PSP and PlayStation 3 consoles, and allows users to easily access online games with the push of a button. Buffalo’s AirStation One-Touch Secure System (AOSS) provides an instant connection to the Internet, stores security settings and enables devices to link without a bunch of wires, while making the security tight with minimum user setup.

As small as a playing card box, Buffalo said the Wi-Fi Gamers gives users the freedom of choice in games. The device plugs into an available port on an existing LAN. Once connected, users can connect the device to the Internet in few easy steps.

After pressing the corresponding AOSS button on the Wi-Fi Gamers and gaming console screen, gamers can immediately and securely play online games. It also manages the different levels of support security among different gaming consoles, providing hassle-free setup of multiple gaming devices.

Backed by a limited two-year warranty, Buffalo’s Wi-Fi Gamers (WCA-G) will be available at the end of the month for Rs. 2,400/- through retailers, online resellers and Buffalo’s Web site.
