User-friendly Nokia 2135 Compact CDMA Handset

Finnish phone maker Nokia has introduced a user-friendly handset the Nokia 2135. It is a compact CDMA phone that is aimed at consumers who wish to own an easy-to-use and at the same time affordable mobile phone.

According to Larry Paulson, senior vice president and general manager of Nokia’s CDMA business group, “Many consumers are looking for a simple, yet affordable phone to keep in touch with the people who mean the most to them.” For this purpose, the Nokia 2135 CDMA handset comes complete with a 400-entry phonebook. It also offers 3.5 hours of talktime or 11 days of standby time.
The Nokia 2135 mobile phone has been designed keeping simplicity in mind, but Nokia has also carefully selected a set of features that adds to the utility of this phone without adding unnecessary complexities.
For instance, the integrated speakerphone allows the whole family to join in the conversation at once. Moreover, the Nokia 2135 phone also offers user-assignable ringtones that alert the user who is calling.
“The large easy to read keys and familiar Nokia user interface makes the Nokia 2135 comfortable to use. The modern design and compact size makes it easy to carry, and the attractive price makes it easy to afford,” added Paulson.

A built-in calendar and voice recorder that can store up to 60 second of audio notes at a time complete the features of the Nokia 2135 CDMA mobile phone.
The Nokia 2135 handset is slated to be available initially in North America during the fall of 2007. No word on the phone’s price as yet.
